my 11 yr old labrador has breathing super heavy almost 24/7?
my lab has been breathing super heavy nonstop. we'll give her water and try to cool her off but even in the winter she never stops breathing heavy. I feel bad and wonder if something is wrong. do you know if this is a sign of something bad or is it normal for her age?
The dog needs to see a vet. While there are many things that COULD be causing this, heart problems are the first thing to come to mind (which can be quite inexpensive to treat).
